Part of what we do at Adventure Canine is to give temporary homes to dogs that did not fit their previous owners' lifestyles. These are often times dogs that have or currently experience some level of anxiety, reactivity, or a high need for engagement and activity. That said, we thoroughly work with the past owners, our training team, and prospective new owners to make sure that the new home the dog is placed in is the right fit forever.
Some dogs need to be couch potatoes and do great with other animals and children, and others are more intense and need more individual attention and a high level of engagement and boundaries. Our process ensures that both you and the dog are going to enter into an ideal situation moving forward after adoption.
